The Mascarenhas Fiuza Family has been dedicated to winemaking for more than a century. In 1986, the partnership between the wine producer Joaquim Mascarenhas Fiuza and the prestigious Australian winemaker Peter Bright was born, where Fiuza & Bright was born.

A pioneer in the study of international grape varieties in Portuguese soils, the company developed a range of single-varietal wines. Today, these grape varieties are also married to the best native grapes, creating truly unique wines. Fiuza & Bright produces its wines with the grapes coming from its farms, grown in clay and limestone soils and harvested manually and mechanically, guaranteeing the production of high quality wines.
Fiuza has planted about 120 ha of vineyard in two farms near the winery.
Quinta da Granja, 68 hectares, is located on the outskirts of the city of Santarém, near the town of Romeira. Located in a terroir with an Argilo-limestone soil, irregular relief and excellent sun exposure. The average temperatures are lower and there is more precipitation than in the other Terroirs of the region.
 Quinta da Requeixada, with approximately 50 hectares, is located in the most beautiful area of ​​Lezíria Ribatejana, has a transitional soil between the alluvial soil, characteristic of the "Field" and the sandy soil of "Charneca". The climate in this Terroir is very conditioned by the proximity of the Tagus River that provides the ideal soil and climatic conditions for the vineyard culture.
