The Quevedo family is part of a new generation of small producers based in the Douro.

Before Portugal joined the European Union, these families produced grapes and Port wine to sell to the merchants of Vila Nova de Gaia. After that, the legislation allowed them to directly export port wine from their wineries. And as a result of this new legislation is born the family brand "Quevedo".
They cultivate 100 ha of vineyards between six farms in the Douro valley, in the sub-regions of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. The diversity of vines produces grapes of various aromas and flavors which helps in the creation of wines.
