Extra dry port wine is made from the same grape varieties as other ports, however, during the production process, the fermentation is stopped earlier than in other ports. This results in a higher alcohol content and less residual sugar, leading to a drier taste profile.

Ready to be enjoyed as early as the bottle opening. Drink fresh. Great as an aperitif with salted almonds, olives and Gouda cheese. It can also be drunk in cocktail, on a very hot day, adding tonic water, lots of ice and some mint leaves, the famous Porto Tonic
