Its name is due to its history and international recognition: after the Russian Revolution, in 1917 Pico wine was found in the cellars of the last Czar Nicholas II; it was even referred to as an ingredient in prescriptions and was mentioned in the writings of the famous writer Tolstoi</p>

<p>Niepoort White Reserve is harvested earlier than usual on the island, aged in stainless steel and is composed of three grape varieties: Verdelho, Arinto from the Azores and Terrantez from Pico.</p> <p>The colour is golden due to its partial stage in wood.</p> <p>In the nose, one can feel the iodine of the sea, citrus, apricot, spices such as vanilla pods.</p> <p>In the mouth it is structured, denser than one would expect, with an acidity that balances the almost salty aftertaste.</p>

<p></p><p>Saborinho (aka: Tinta Negra, Molar de Colares) is one of the traditional grape varietals of the Azores Islands that almost disappeared from our vineyards. This limited edition of 1518 bottles tests the potential of this grape. The result? A fresh red wine, with a ligth color, salty, iodine and complex, teasing the palate with something that could have only been born in the sea.</p>
