Esporão Canto Zé Cruz 2014 Red Wine
    • Esporão Canto Zé Cruz 2014 Red Wine

    Esporão Aragonez 2017 Red Wine

Notes of berries, blackberry jam accompanied by nuances of tobacco leaf and coffee bean. Intense and vibrant, with tannins present and solid and a persistent finish

Wine born in the "Canto do Zé Cruz", whose vineyards are over 35 years old. They produce grapes of intense colour and concentrated aromas. With early maturation and good yield, the Aragonez grape variety gives rise to wines with high alcohol content, balanced acidity and aging capacity

Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito was founded in 1960, but its chronology goes far beyond its almost 60 years of existence. Its roots are intertwined with the history of the village itself, and with Vasco da Gama - the Count of Vidigueira, to whom D. Jaime, Duke of Bragança gave the village in 1519. Thus arose the first connections of Vidigueira with the family of Gama.

Based on the effort and dream of most of the wine growers in the regions of Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito, this winery, one of the oldest in Portugal, is today a modern and visionary SME. In the winery's viticultural patrimony are discovered native grape varieties, perfected from generation to generation, among which stands out the Antão Vaz grape variety. This caste legitimated as the caste of Vidigueira and muse inspiring the Winery, gives rise to an exceptional white wine whose notoriety is worth the title of "O Branco do Alentejo".

Throughout the years it has been the target of various interventions and improvements, but preserves the beauty and elegance of the original feature of the main building and today is one of the most modern and innovative winemaking domains in Portugal, with an enotourism unit, 35 hectares of vineyard, 110 hectares of olive grove, 60 of cereals, 215 of mount and a magnificent lodging
