This wine is born in the Serra de Montargil, Alto Alentejo region, in the Herdade da Anta de Cima, owned by the Tenreiro family, in a temperate climate, with average annual precipitation of 650mm, and on Mediterranean clay soils.
The argilla are wines of terroir, of select and differentiated profile, obtained from many noble Portuguese grape varieties.
<p></p><p>Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999 at Quinta do Côtto, and later worked as an oenologist at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Douro. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, namely Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta das Arcas has around 50ha, 35ha of vineyards stand out, around 30 years old, where under the influence of a very particular micro-climate grapes of high quality of the Loureiro, Trajadura and Arinto grapes are obtained</p>
<p></p><p>It was during the year of 2010 that the urge to produce wines in a region already filled history and wine tradition. The aim is to achieve the of two worlds: the respect the tradition and his origins no make-up or additives, producing wines freshness in a region known its continental and warm terroir. All the wines are produced minimalist intervention processes, promoting the respect the vineyard, its grape varieties and the sustainability of the process, guarantying the highest quality in all the production.</p>
<p></p><p>Sonho Lusitano is a joint project of wine expert Richard Mayson and winemaker Rui Reguinga. The vineyards are located in the Alentejo region, on the slopes of the Serra de São Mamede, between 500 and 560 meters above sea level at the foot of Portalegre</p>
<p></p> <p>Quinta de São José de Peramanca is located five kilometres from Évora, on National Road 114. The large and traditional house, marked by baroque architecture, and the church of San José adjacent to it facilitate identification. With 34 hectares, the Quinta has in the manor house and in its vineyard its greatest patrimony.</p> <p>As for the peculiar name of the Quinta "Peramanca" (Pedra-Manca), it means "oscillating stone, not very safe", is explained by the existence in the region of large granite stones in oscillating balance. Since Roman times and over the centuries, the surroundings to the west of Évora have been considered as one of the most important regions producing quality wine, and the area has become known as "Terras de Peramanca", given the abundance of these oscillating stones.</p>
<p>Herdade do Sobroso is located in the Vidigueira. In this estates are produced white, red and rose wines</p> <p></p>
