<p><span>Luisa Amorim discovered the Alentejo at an early age - where the greens and browns of the cork oak trees mixed with the holm oaks and olive trees, in an immense and seemingly infinite territory, as she stayed in the region before heading south for her summer holidays in the Algarve. In addition to cork, which plays a central role in her family universe, Luisa soon discovered that wine is one of her great passions. She later began to manage the Quinta Nova of Nossa Senhora do Carmo estate in the Douro and the Taboadella estate in the Dão region. Her family originally acquired the Herdade Aldeia de Cima estate in 1994. In 2017 she decided to rebuild the small village and plant a vineyard in the Serra do Mendro, which soon became a life project</span></p>

<p></p><p>Herdade do Monte da Ribeira was acquired in 1986 by the industrialist Victor Carmona e Costa who, in the following 15 years, not only completely reformed the estate, but also implemented the entire productive agricultural structure and wine cellar.<br />Herdade is owned by Casa Agrícola HMR SA, which is wholly owned by a foundation that bears the name of its two Founders, the Victor and Graça Carmona e Costa Foundation. The Foundation, with headquarters and own facilities in Lisbon, is dedicated to supporting contemporary art in Portugal and Casa Agrícola HMR SA is one of its foundational assets</p>

<p></p><p>The 2019 edition of Touriga Nacional da Peceguina appears once more with a nose very typical of the grape variety, very expressive with violet notes, red ripe fruit and a perfectly integrated barrel. On the mouth it is intense and very complex, with good strucure and an attractive freshness amidst the toasted and spiced notes, and with fruit filled long finish.</p>
