Located in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta da Deserta has its vineyards rooted between the banks of the river Tavora and the river Douro, in schistose soils. The combination of very hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters results in low yields but with high quality grapes. The products sold from Quinta da Deserta are certified.
<p>Palato do Coa started in 2007, when the winemaker Carlos Magalhães challenged 5 of his friends to buy Quinta da Saudade, located in the Douro Superior, Vila Nova de Foz Côa; considered by many one of the best terroir of the Douro region, in Portugal. With the goal to produce the best Douro wines, the estate has 7.5 hectares of old vineyards and 8.5 hectares planted in 2010</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p>The Alves de Sousa family has long traditions in the production of Port Wine. It was up to Domingos Alves de Sousa, a great lord of the Douro, to launch quiet wines in the 90s. Since then, some of the best topos of the region are his responsibility, seconded by his son Tialgo Alves Sousa</p>
<p>Four young brothers from Mesão Frio joined hands to create a wine-producing company that already has 150 hectares, spread over seven farms in the Douro Demarcated Region and launched the first wine at the end of 2011.<br />Roberto, Ricardo, Rafael and Rudolfo, with 33, 29, 26 and 23 years, make up the R4 Douro Family.</p>

<p>Quinta dos Frades is one of the most beautiful and emblematic properties of the Douro Vinhateiro. Its records date back to the year 1256, when it was donated to the monastery of Santa Maria de Salzedas</p>
