Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa is an exceptional red wine crafted from a single vineyard over 100 years old, planted on schist terraces above the Douro River. This 4.7-hectare field blend includes dozens of indigenous grape varieties, hand-harvested from extremely low-yielding vines—just 300 grams per plant. The grapes are carefully selected, foot-trodden in traditional lagares, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before aging for 20 months in new oak barrels (90% French and 10% American)
Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa White Wine offers intense ruby color and a complex, aromatic profile with notes of wild berries, cistus flower, and elegant spice. On the palate, it shows powerful structure, fine-grained tannins, and a long, harmonious finish. Best served between 16–18 °C, it pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted red meats. Vinha Maria Teresa is a rare expression of Douro terroir and one of Quinta do Crasto’s most iconic and collectible wines.
