This young couple at first had no vineyards or wine, but a common dream, a personal project to which they dedicated themselves body and soul.<br />The name Wine &amp; Soul is the consequence of his passion and total commitment to wine. From the beginning the work of this company focuses on an untiring search for exceptional vineyards in the Pinhão valley, the historic heart of the great Port wines, and give them a voice</p>

<p></p><p>Located in the Roncão valley, a famous site for the quality of its wines, Quinta do Síbio presents itself as one of Real Companhia Velha’s oldest estates. Today the property, extends onto the plateau of Alijó with a total area of 101,5 ha enjoying South and West sun exposure, in between 90 and 550 metres of altitude</p> <p>The layout of the vines follow the level curves and are installed in traditional socalcos made os shist stones, highlighting the heritage of this property.</p> <p>Following a total restructuring of its vines, this charming quinta is one of the most innovative projects in the region, where we implement a vast program to recue some of Douro's oldest varieties, which were in risk of extintion.</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta da Ferradosa Vinhas Velhas Red Wine is the fruit of a vineyard that is so diverse in grape varieties as it is in its soil types. This creates a wine, which is very concentrated on the nose and in the mouth reveals black fruits like plum and black cherry allied to pine notes. The tannins are present, and bring to the wine an incredible structure. The wine is then balanced by a marked freshness, making this Quinta da Ferradosa a very elegant wine.</p>

<p></p><p>Barão da Várzea Grande Reserva Made with Rabigato and Arinto grapes from vines planted in sandy soils with fragments of shale. It reveals an aroma of unusual complexity, notes of ripe orange and peach, some minerality reminiscent of wet stone, with the whole involved in soft smoky nuances. In the mouth it shows remarkable volume, full-bodied without losing elegance and harmonious profile. Crisp acidity at the end gives it great persistence.</p>
