Deep ruby wine, touches of ripe fruit, jam, cistus on the nose and good complexity from ageing in new American oak barrels. On the palate it has great structure and elegance, with a long and fruity finish.
<p><span>The House of Sandeman was founded in London in 1790 by George Sandeman, a young Scot from Perth who decided to invest £300 borrowed from his father in creating a business marketing wines from Porto (Portugal) and Jerez (Spain ). </span></p> <p><span><span>Always a pioneer, Sandeman was the first company to brand its name on a cask with a hot iron. In 1805, the GSC (George Sandeman Co.) signature was a guarantee of quality for the wine it sold. It was also one of the first companies to label and advertise its wines, which in the early nineteenth century were already being exported to several countries in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia. </span></span></p> <p><span>For over two centuries, Sandeman has based its success on a rare capacity for innovation and expertise handed down from generation to generation. <p>Diálogo is a pleasant, easy drinking red wine, but with complexity, mineral notes and great depth, found in the classic Douro wines. It is produced from vineyards located in the Cima Corgo sub-region, being the main varieties, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Barroca. Its freshness and youth well integrated with soft tannins, make this wine, full of Douro character, a very pleasant wine to drink. A series of wines that the duo began to produce in the Douro and in Trás-os-Montes, under the Portugal Boutique Winery project. The brand Boina groups the wines without wood of the Douro.</span></p>
<p><span>Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with quality, time and art. Thus it has been since the company’s founding in the eighteenth century by Bernardo Ferreira, whose formula was refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, known affectionately as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua".</span></p>
<p>Located in the heart of the Vilariça Valley, one of the most fertile agricultural valleys in Europe, Quinta da Terrincha stands out as one of the most important agricultural units in the whole of Northern Portugal. Extending for more than 300 hectares, along 4 kilometers of the National Road 102 (that connects the regions of Trás-os-Montes and Beira Alta), near the meeting of the waters of the river Sabor with the great Douro River and boundary of the future bay of Baixo Sabor, and facing the mountain range that separates Vale da Vilariça from the Sabor valley, Quinta da Terrincha is totally located in the Douro Demarcated Region.</p>
