Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. <p></p><p>Beija-Flor O Encanto is a wine that expresses the vineyard, the place and the region from which it comes - vineyards at around 600 metres above sea level, on mica schist soils, and over 80 years old.</p> <p>Beija-Flor reveals intense, deep minerality. Complex in aroma, with excellent notes of toast from the barrel and fine herbs perfectly integrated into the citrus and slightly floral profile. With a lot of presence in the mouth, it is very fine and delicate with notes of white fruit and some spices</p>

<p></p><p>Barão da Várzea Grande Reserva Made with Rabigato and Arinto grapes from vines planted in sandy soils with fragments of shale. It reveals an aroma of unusual complexity, notes of ripe orange and peach, some minerality reminiscent of wet stone, with the whole involved in soft smoky nuances. In the mouth it shows remarkable volume, full-bodied without losing elegance and harmonious profile. Crisp acidity at the end gives it great persistence.</p>

Nose characterized by notes of ripe black fruit, with hints of stone of black plums, dark chocolate and cocoa black, bark, and some leather, throughout evolution. In the mouth, the structure is striking, with tannins well presented, elegant and harmonious, to contribute to a silky body</p>
