Elpenor Reserva Red Wine has a deep red colour with cherry reflections. The aroma expresses elegant notes of black plum, blackberry, violet and bergamot, with nuances of rosemary and dry pine needles, in a fine and authentic profile. It reveals a very velvety and round flavour with the presence of firm and very civilized tannins with a well-structured and consistent cut. It shows good finesse and a persistent high-bouquet finish.
This wine results from the combination of the four main grape varieties of the Dão region: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen. Deep ruby coloured with an intense aroma of wild berries and bergamot. In the mouth it is full-bodied, without losing its elegance. The aftertaste is long and complex
<p>The family company CM Wines was founded in 2004 but its history starts 4 years ago, in 2000, when José António Costa Marques acquired a 2 hectares plot in the Silgueiros area, located in the Dão Demarcated Region.<br />Over the years the area of this company increased with the acquisition of various plots. Currently the vineyard area extends over 12 hectares in 5 distinct plots and 2 ha of olive grove</p>
<p>The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. The winemaking operation has been a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they were delivering their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the Dão demarcated region. In 2014 the name of the company became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda</p>

<p>Pretexto white is a blend of the traditional grapes from high altitude vines and granitic soils of Dão wine region. The grapes that make up this blend are mostly Encruzado and Bical, and Gouveio, Malvasia Fina and Cerceal Branco in a small percentage. Naturally fermented and aged in the same vats of cement and stainless steel is a very pleasant wine, with creaminess and complexity that already allows pairing with some gastronomy. It is a white blend that speaks for the vineyards and soils that originate it.</p>
