Quinta de La Rosa 20 Years Old Port Wine (500ml)
€26.25
Wine House Portugal ,
5/ 5

All ports at Quinta de la Rosa are made in the ‘house style’ namely slightly drier without any cloying sweetness that is often associated with ports. As in their wines, they search for balance, harmony and equilibrium from their vineyards and they try to enable the grapes to express themselves in the bottle. The La Rosa style is to make well defined wines without too much extraction and tannin

Quinta de La Rosa 2018 Red Wine
€9.70
Wine House Portugal ,
5/ 5

The Quinta de La Rosa red 2015 is a very seductive wine, with blackberry and strawberry aromas combining with floral notes, especially violet (coming from the Touriga Franca grape). On the palate, there is a lot of rich fruit but not at all heavy, showing the best of the Douro where richness and structure combines with freshness and elegance.

Quinta de la Rosa 30 Years Old Port Wine (500ml)
€66.51
Wine House Portugal ,
5/ 5

Quinta de la Rosa Tawny 30 year old has a beautiful amber colour showing its age well. The long, slow maturation in old wooden pipes (550L barrels) has given this magnificent wine enormous elegance and complexity. On the nose, slightly dried fruit aromas with touches of balsamic vinegar, coffee and exotic wood are just some of its components. On the palate, it is simply delicious, almost light but with incredible intensity of flavour, soft, mouth filling with great persistence.
