Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira (CARM) presents its first Beira Interior wine: the Marquês d'Almeida, a wine of excellence

<p></p><p>Periquita was registered in 1941 by Jose Maria Fonseca. Periquita is now the oldest brand of Portuguese table wines having acquired widespread popularity over the years in Portugal and others markets such as Sweden, Brazil, the UK, the USA, Canada, Denmark and Norway</p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Behind a great wine there is always a great story. In the case of Grão Vasco, it is written with words of dedication, rigor, innovation, experience and passion. Words that tell the past, the present and the future. A start dating back to the late 50's in a small regional company - Super-Dão Winery Ltd</p>
<p></p><p>From the old vineyards of Quinta de Golães, grapes of typical grape varieties of the region, Vinhão, Brancelho, Pedral and others were collected, giving rise to this red, red ruby red wine with predominant aromas of red and wild fruits, slightly full bodied and soft.</p>
<p></p><p>The wines of Quinta da Cassa estate are inspired in the flavours and tastes of the Douro Superior and in the Cassa’s imaginary, standing out for its gastronomic character</p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>The company was founded in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, who served as chairman until 1973. The management is still held by the descendants of MESSIAS family. <span id="result_box" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Since its foundation</span> that MESSIAS <span lang="en" xml:lang="en">has been producing and selling high quality wines from the main demarcated regions:</span> Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto. The company is also known for the high quality of its Champagne method Sparkling wines and aged Brandies</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Indiegente White Wine presents greenish citrus colour, with expressive aromas of citrus fruit (grapefruit) in perfect harmony with toasty and floral notes. On the palate, it has plenty of volume and structure, supported by a lively and refreshing acidity</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta dos Termos is situated in the center of Portugal, on the slopes of the South slope of Serra da Estrela (highest mountain of Portugal - 2,000 m), thus protected from the cold north winds and sunny by its exposure to the South, reaching temperatures in the summer sometimes higher than 50ºC, which leads to a higher degree of maturation, giving rise to complex, aromatic wines of good consistency</p>
<p></p><p>Bal da Madre wines represent the soul and essence of Beira Interior, the highest wine region in Portugal. Their unique freshness, aromatic exuberance and natural acidity are the purest reflection of this terroir.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta da Biaia is certified for organic production from grape to bottle, which enhances all its unique characteristics and profile, combined with an average altitude of 750 meters giving rise to wines with a strong acidity that is its backbone.</p> <p>No synthetic or animal product is used in the winemaking process. The wines can be integrated in a Vegetarian and Vegan diet</p>
<p></p><p>From Vinho Verde to the Alentejo, via the Douro and Dão, with "leaps" across to the Azores, Brazil and Argentina, Anselmo Mendes has undertaken a path as wine-maker, by cultivating a passion in each region, getting to know the voice of each land and trying to bring out the best in each wine. Today, as a consultant, he has had various successful projects from one end of Portugal to the other, and abroad.</p>
