<p></p><p>Monte Velho was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience.</p>

<p></p><p>Located in the Douro River valley, in a transitional region right on the border between the demarcated Douro region and the Vinho Verde region, Quinta da Castanheira has always been known for being a property with rich granite soil. The 1000Curvas project thus takes advantage of the best of these two worlds: the typical granite soil of the Vinho Verde region and the influence of the Douro River right there at 2 km</p>
<p></p><p>The wine production in this place dates back at least to the 18th century. But it was in 2003 that there was the rebirth of the current Quinta dos Abibes whose terroir is already an inescapable symbol of Bairrada</p>
<p></p><p>Dom Ponciano wine, obtained by the most modern winemaking technologies, is fresh, balsamic and very expressive in the mouth, where it appears powerful, with firm acidity and a persistent finish, with some sweetness.</p>
<p>Firmamento Loureiro White Wine has delicate, complex and prominently floral aromas, with white rose and orange blossom standing out as very soft and delicate, as well as a fresh, refreshing citrus flavour. On the palate it shows a crystalline freshness on the palate attack and a pleasant fresh and dry minerality.
