Niepoort Vintage 2022 Port Wine is a striking expression of the Douro’s finest old-vine parcels, trodden by foot in granite lagares and aged in large oak “tonéis.” With a profound purple hue and violet glints, its bouquet unfolds with elegant notes of violets, graphite, liquorice, and blackberries. The palate is textured yet balanced, supported by refined tannins and a spicy, drier-than-expected finish—promising excellent aging potential.
