<p></p><p>HM Borges Malvasia 50 Years Old has a brownish topaz colour with orange reflections. The palate has an intoxicating, clean, elegant and extremely complex flavour. Well-structured acidity and body in harmony with the sweetness and tannins. Sweet wine, very full-bodied and rich in old cask aromas where toasted almonds, vanilla with hints of iodine, tobacco and caramel predominate.</p> <p>The wine is aged in French and American oak casks, in the traditional process until bottling.</p> <p>This wine is delicious with dried fruit, especially walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts. It pairs well with dried fruit cakes, honey cakes, butter biscuits, dark or milk chocolate, pralines and petit-fours. It's a wine that is elegant with Portuguese and blue cheeses or even simply with a good cigar</p>
