In this area, the nature of the soil in which the vines grow, the altitude, the location, the (low) productivity and the slope are particularly favourable to the production of quality Port wines.Quinta do Retiro Novo Vintage Port is a wine of exceptional properties, produced only in years of extraordinary quality. 

    Vintage Ports remain in the vat for just two years and are bottled young so that they can age in the bottle for many years.
