<p></p><p>Maçanita is a project by two brothers and winemakers who explored the terroirs of the Douro. They are so many and so different that in 1935 a system of classes from Letra A to Letra F, with the right to benefit, and without the right below Letra F began and continues to this day. In Letter A are the plots with the greatest maturity and which brought so much fame to the Douro; in Letters F and following, the opposite. With less power and concentration, they were pushed towards abandonment. But there are still forgotten treasures, vineyards planted in other times that confirm the existence of several Douros. This is one of them.</p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>Quinta do Javali Reserva Red Wine presents deep red colour. Nose dominated by notes of ripe red fruit with some hints of strawberry jam and raspberry, combined with nuances of spice. So well integrated, there are notes of toasted barrels of high quality, giving a greedy character to wine, with aromas of vanilla and brioche. In the mouth, it confirms the fruity aromas in harmony with this structure but elegant.</p>

<p></p><p>In order to make Diálogo white wine  a light, fresh but complex wine, vinification takes place in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels. The illustrations on the label, with different stories on the various editions, reinforce the relaxed character of this wine</p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>Quinta dos Avidagos has a wide range of wines that goes from Avidagos White, Red and Rosé, Quinta dos Avidagos Tinto Reserva, Quinta do Além Tanha Tinto and Quinta dos Avidagos Grande Reserva Tinto. The indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, for the reds and Gouveio, Rabigato and Viosinho for white, allow them to achieve all the personality and character of the terroirs of the Douro. Combining cutting-edge winemaking with the traditional foot treading in granite mills (lagares), the aim is to produce wines with excellent value money with recognized quality worldwide, international profile and the nature of their homeland. The excellence of the wine culture, the use of traditional varieties, as well as the structural conditions of the region and the human project, has constituted the secret of success. The Douro is actually unique, singular. The wines deserve attention from critics regarding the quality and sales, both domestically and in export markets, have increased. It is the wish of the Quinta dos Avidagos also to join to the existing range of products, a Port wine in the future</p> <p></p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>Menin Tinta Roriz is born from the selection of the best plots of the Tinta Roriz variety, with the aim of demonstrating the potential of the terroir of MENIN DOURO ESTATES for the various indigenous varieties of the Douro. The different selected plots are found at elevations of 150 to 200 m with Southwest exposures.</p>
