Nuno Aguiar (winemaker, former collaborator of Anselmo Mendes) and António Olazabal Ferreira (marine biologist in accelerated conversion to winemaker) have launched a wine called Boina, the first one is from 2015 and has a very appealing aesthetic. A series of wines that the duo began to produce in the Douro and in Trás-os-Montes, under the Portugal Boutique Winery project. The brand Boina groups the wines without wood of the Douro.
<p></p><p><span>The main building of Quinta do Todão is the Manor of Dr. Paulo Pizarro de Carvalho and Melo descendant of the Marquês do Pombal, emblazoned house built in the XVIII Century.</span></p>

<p></p><p>Quinta dos Poços Reserva White Wine</p> <p><span class="Y2IQFc" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Quinta dos Poços Reserva White Wine shows a fresh, fruity taste, with aroma like apple and citric fruits. In the mouth is very fresh with volume and acidity. It as minerality, toasted aromas and freshness. Drink with fish, seafood or white meets.</span></p>
<p></p><p>This Douro White wine is produced with grapes from Quinta da Fonte. This farm is located at an altitude of 500 meters on the fresh plateau of Celeirós, facing the east in a fantastic area for the production of fresh and structured white grapes.</p>
<p></p><p>The brothers Antonio and Edmar Monteiro are the founders of the 1912 Winemakers company. <br />The passion for the world of wine comes early in the life of these two brothers, who since childhood helped their father at the Quinta de São Bernardo property on the banks of the Douro River.<br />Later they acquired Quinta de Águas, which allowed them to increase production but maintaining the same quality as the wines produced</p>
<p>It stands out for its versatility on the table, ideal to accompany red meat dishes such as steak or lamb, pasta with rich sauces and mature cheeses.</p> <p>Fermentation in stainless steel vats at 25ºC for 6 days. Ageing: 6 months in 500 litre used oak casks.</p>
