Vinha do Carril Red Wine is the Niepoort family's latest iconic wine, from a centenary vineyard that surrounds the Nápoles estate in the upper Corgo. Vinha do Carril shows displays a pale, bright red hue, with purple glints. On the nose, notes of cherry, rhubarb, fresh herbs, spices, and floral nuances mingle with a subtle smoky character and hints of graphite which lend the wine the typical complexity of a red wine grown in the Douro’s schist soils. The palate showcases Niepoort’s signature elegant structure, freshness and acidity. It finishes long, with an almost spicy note and beautiful elegance and acidity

Firmado Reserva White Wine has a very complex nose with pronounced fruit (mandarin, grapefruit, pear, pineapple), dried fruit (walnut, almond), mineral (gunpowder, sweet notes (cinnamon, ginger) and a slight vanilla. In the mouth, the definition of the pear, dried fruit and vanilla stand out. Slightly delicate tannins that add unctuousness and mouthfeel. It finishes long and persistent with a frank, salivating acidity.
