Vinha do Carril shows displays a pale, bright red hue, with purple glints. On the nose, notes of cherry, rhubarb, fresh herbs, spices, and floral nuances mingle with a subtle smoky character and hints of graphite which lend the wine the typical complexity of a red wine grown in the Douro’s schist soils.
