Ruby in colour, the nose reveals vegetal notes, blackberry, cherry and earthy, balsamic mineral freshness. On the palate it's very elegant and structured, with silky, enveloping tannins, very fresh fruit with acidity and alcohol in full balance

The family company CM Wines was founded in 2004 but its history starts 4 years ago, in 2000, when José António Costa Marques acquired a 2 hectares plot in the Silgueiros area, located in the Dão Demarcated Region.
Over the years the area of this company increased with the acquisition of various plots. Currently the vineyard area extends over 12 hectares in 5 distinct plots and 2 ha of olive grove

Quinta dos Carvalhais Jaen Red has a deep rich red hue. It has a very fresh bouquet for a red wine, with an emphasis on violet floral notes, a touch of menthol and red fruits. Its palate is marked by a well-balanced acidity with soft and elegant tannins. Quinta dos Carvalhais Jaen Red 2009 has a medium but well-balanced body, ending in an explosion of fresh red fruits

At the end of the 90's, with the development of the activity, João Pedro Araújo's family decided to acquire Quinta da Vegia, in order to start producing red wines.

Located in the Dão Region, next to the town of Penalva do Castelo, it currently has 20 ha of vineyards. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.

Opta wines are the result of the partnership between Camilo Leite and oenologist Nuno Cancela de Abreu.
Focused on the foreign market and the international consumer, this brand affirms itself by its originality and I ask for dynamism that makes it able to follow the trends and participate in world growth

Located between Mangualde and Nelas, in place of Abrunhosa do Mato, Quinta dos Roques is well the example of the spirit with which the new Dão is being built. From the early Roques, more than a century ago, the vine and wine are part of the daily life of this family

Taboadella Grande Villae Red Wine is a blend of key Dão red varietals: Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz. It's described as complex with a strong, generous character, boasting intense aromatic complexity of wild red and ripe black fruits, subtle balsamic nuances, spice notes, and soft vanilla. It features a very fine structure supported by extraordinary minerality, imposing tannins, and lively fruit, culminating in a long, elegant finish. It pairs well with grilled meats, roast beef, game dishes, and intense cheeses
