Lusus was born out of a family's desire to translate the art and knowledge that their ancestors possessed into wine.
The inspiration for this project comes from the figure of Lusus, presented in Roman mythology as the son or companion of Bacchus, the god of wine.
Today, in the fourth generation of the family, and after many years of observation and interpretation of the ‘Terroir’, Lusus wines are born.
They are authentic, minimalist (in terms of intervention) and special wines that represent purity and respect for the vineyards and the entire ecosystem, but also for the people who work and have worked in them.
Lusus wines are produced in the parish of S. João de Lourosa, in the sub-region of Silgueiros, on 9 different vineyard plots.
