In 1969, the Lobo de Vasconcelos Family founded a new Agricultural Society based in the Herdade da Perescuma.
This initiative was designed to introduce several properties acquired in the Municipalities of Évora and Reguengos de Monsaraz, including the Perescuma, Barão and Bonical estates, covering a total area of about 2,400 hectares.
A strong family tradition of entrepreneurship in the agricultural and vines sector has, from the outset, marked the main activities of the Perescuma Agricultural Society.
The properties that make up the Herdade da Perescuma make a direct connection with the reservoir of the Alqueva dam, giving it a privileged location not only in terms of terroir but also for the natural beauty that surrounds the magnificent complex.
