Quinta do Caldeirão is located in the valley of the river Torto, on the left bank of the river Douro.

The Quinta do Caldeirão vineyards were planted in the 1990s and early 2000s (10 ha). Its wines are produced from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Sousão varieties.
