The quinta de porrais originally belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Ferreira Adelaide (better known by the name of ferreirinha).

It is located in the area of the demarcated Douro region, recognized for having defined the world's first organization model of a wine region and the quality of its wines.
In partnership with the agricultural society Quinta de Porrais since 2011, the family santos lima is a member of the same and responsible for the production and marketing of wines from this historic farm.
