Quinta do Noval is located in the Douro region and is one of the most prestigious producers of high quality Port and Douro wine, with national and international recognition. With records since 1715, this Quinta holds one of the terroir of excellence of this region.

Quinta do Noval Vintage is characterised by its purity of fruit and a fine and delicate quality, characteristic of the wines from this estate, but which, in this wine, is more remarkable and of lasting expression. Vintage wines are only produced in years of excellence and are attributed adjectives such as balanced, harmonious, fine and elegant. They represent a small part of Quinta do Noval's total production. Made up of the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinto Cão grape varieties, its grapes are trodden by foot in the lagares until the grape juice (must) is obtained and then macerated during fermentation to achieve better extraction. Ageing takes place in wooden casks for 18 months. Quinta do Noval Vintage 2003 was bottled in 2005 and presents complex, pure and fresh aromas, showing a perfect balance between concentration and delicacy. Its finish is long and very tasty.

Quinta do Noval Colheita is a rare Port wine, produced in small quantities, only in exceptional years. It is a Tawny from a single harvest. Each harvest is different even if marked by the terroir of the Quinta and the year itself, as with Vintage Port, however, it is aged in oak casks until bottled.  Made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão and Sousão grape varieties from Quinta do Noval, the grapes are crushed and fermented in traditional lagares, undergoing intense treading. Quinta do Noval Colheita 2003 was bottled in 2017, and presents an amber colour.
