<p>When tasting the Poço do Lobo Tinto 1987, expect the characteristics of a mature and evolved red wine: a clear garnet color gradually fading to mahogany. The aroma is very complex, with notes of red and black berries, dried fruits, earthy undertones, mushroom, resins, and spices (peppery, coffee, smoke), along with subtle floral and secondary notes. On the palate, it offers a soft attack, medium structure, and present but smooth, good-quality tannins. The acidity is well-integrated, sometimes with a sweet/sour duality. The finish is long, dry, and persistent. This wine, despite its age, remains alive and vibrant, with good acidity and a gastronomic profile, making it ideal for roasted or grilled red meats, game, and aged cheeses.</p> <p></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Years available for purchase.
