<p></p><p>It is within the genuine Alentejo, with unique aromas, flavors and textures, of nature, of silence and of immensity, that extend the 80 hectares of vineyard of Herdade Monte da Cal, about 40 km from Portalegre.<br />Surrounded by the tranquility of the north Alentejo plain, it is inserted in the calm environment of the characteristic nature of this zone of the country, surrounded by the infinity of vineyards</p>
<p></p><p>This wine was produced in south Alentejo with the grape varieties of Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional. Presents garnet colour intense aroma with notes of black cherry and wild flavours. Taste balanced, smooth, and end of good persistence.</p>

<p></p> <p>Quinta da Fonte Souto Red Wine embodies all the strengths of the property’s unique terroir: the freshness and balance afforded by the altitude; the concentration, which derives from mature, low-yielding vines, and the complexity and structure provided by the judicious combination of grape varieties. This red is built around the signature Alicante Bouschet with important contributions from Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Alfrocheiro.</p>
