Vinhos Trás Os Montes

O vinho de Trás-os-Montes é uma região vitivinícola portuguesa situada em Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, a região vitivinícola intitula-se Transmontano VR, e algumas zonas estão classificadas na DOC superior (Denominação de Origem Controlada), sob a designação Trás-os-Montes DOC. A região de Trás-os-Montes possui vinhas que produzem uma grande variedade de vinhos, e a região possui vinhas nas mais variadas altitudes. A altitude mais fresca produz vinhos encorpados, enquanto as regiões de baixa altitude produzem vinhos encorpados e com alto teor alcoólico. A região de Trás-os-Montes tem três sub-regiões com direito à Designação DOC Trás-os-Montes: Chaves, Planalto Mirandês, Valpaços
