Galharda 2019 White Wine
Quinta do Daniel, established since 1893, is located next to the place of Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa. The heart of this magnificent wine estate embraces the Douro river and welcomes all boats that arrive at the pier of Pocinho.
The vineyards extend from the left bank of the Douro River and go up the slope in the traditional terraces to a height of 425 meters. With about 80% of vines in full production age, it has about 20% of red grape varieties, aged 40 years.
Galharda White Wine is produced with selected grapes from new vineyards planted in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. It is presented as a balanced white wine with a citrine colour, which surprises by the highlight of aromas of tropical fruits and white flowers
The group H. ABRANTES FAMILY ESTATES, includes Quinta Daniel, Quinta de Azinhate, Quinta da Moura, Quinta de Fontellas, Quinta da Vergeira and Quinta da Veiga, all of which are located in the Douro Demarcated Region, divided into the sub-regions of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior
