<p>The Sovibor - Soc. Vinhos de Borba, Lda. Is a Commercial Society by Quotas constituted by public deed, the 16 of December of 1968.<br />It is the result of the merger of two small producers who started their activities many years before 1968 and later created the firms Manuel Joaquim Mira and Domingos Luiz Pinto &amp; Filho, Lda., Both with wide traditions in the wine field. Therefore, and as a result of such merger, SOVIBOR is managed by people traditionally linked to the wine business.</p>

<p></p><p>It was during the year of 2010 that the urge to produce wines in a region already filled history and wine tradition. The aim is to achieve the of two worlds: the respect the tradition and his origins no make-up or additives, producing wines freshness in a region known its continental and warm terroir. All the wines are produced minimalist intervention processes, promoting the respect the vineyard, its grape varieties and the sustainability of the process, guarantying the highest quality in all the production.</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta do Mouro está localizado nas portas da cidade de Estremoz, e pertencia por séculos à família Zagalos, um dos mais ricos da cidade. Esta "quinta" original no Alentejo, onde as vastas propriedades dominam, tem uma casa sulcada do século XVIII, jardins encantadores, tigelas e tanques do século XVIII. Em 1979, aos 26 anos, a sorte ditava o destino de Miguel Louro em uma mesa de poker, entre amigos, quando ele tinha o dilema de comprar um Porsche ou Quinta do Mouro. Os primeiros hectares de vinha seriam plantados em 1989, após uma incursão fracassada na criação de gado, e hoje ele é um dos produtores de vinho mais icônicos da região</p>
