<p>"Tinta Negra dos Villões Estreito" is a unique, serene red wine (non-fortified), produced on the island of Madeira under the auspices of the Companhia dos Profetas e dos Villões.</p> <p>This project brings together the winemaker António Maçanita and the viticulturist Nuno Faria. The focus of the project is to showcase the potential of traditional Madeiran grape varieties in table wines outside of the traditional fortified Madeira Wine circuit.</p> <p>"Tinta Negra dos Villões - Estreito" comes from a small parcel of old vines over 60 years old in the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, which displays the full potential of this variety on the South coast of the Madeira Island.</p>
