Vilar de Torpim Peculiar White lives up to its name by introducing a distinctive and daring approach to winemaking for a white wine from Beira Interior. Exclusively made from the Síria grape variety, this wine undergoes fermentation with prolonged skin maceration (contact with the grape skins for a month) including a percentage of whole bunch/skins, followed by a stage of half the batch in used oak barrels. The result is a surprising and structured textured white wine, which breaks away from the traditional purely citrus profile, revealing complex notes, a juicy palate and an enveloping finish that invites gastronomic discovery.
