In a natural amphitheater with a southern exposure on the slopes of the river Douro, located on the border between the granitic zone of the Vinhos Verdes Region and the shale region of the Port Wines, Quinta de Covela is located since the 16th century.
With panoramic views over the river, the farmhouse has 49 hectares, 18 of which planted with vines, distributed in two parishes of the Baixo Douro, São Tomé de Covelas and Santa Cruz do Douro, recognized for their extraordinary natural beauty and rich cultural history
