Esta pequeña propiedad agrícola, con una historia de producción de uva y vino, desarrollada en más de 200 cosechas, cuenta con alrededor de 5 hectáreas de viñedos, instalados de acuerdo con las mejores y más recientes técnicas viticulares, bajo la dirección del propietario Luís Elias Gonçalves de Carvalho.
La producción del vino de Quinta do Lagar Novo nació del deseo de la familia Carvalho de rendir homenaje a sus antepasados y hacer vinos de alta calidad aquí.
