Dit kleine landbouwbedrijf, met een geschiedenis van grap en wijnproductie, ontwikkeld over meer dan 200 oogst, heeft ongeveer 5 ha wijnbouw, geïnstalleerd volgens de beste en meest recente wijnbouwtechnieken, onder leiding van de eigenaar Luís Elias Gonçalves de Carvalho.
De wijnproductie van Quinta do Lagar Novo is geboren uit de wens van de Carvalho-familie om hun voorouders te verheerlijken en hier hoogwaardige wijnen te maken.
