The red wine Grande Reserva 2019 was born from the junction of the varieties Touriga Nacional (60%), Tinta Roriz (30%) and Touriga Franca (10%) from the best vineyards of Quinta do Portal.
The 2019 viticultural year, presented itself cooler and with lower rainfall levels than normal, a trend that also occurred during the harvest, leading to a prolongation of the maturation time. For this reason, the harvest, which began in August, was longer and without pressure. Of limited production, this vintage promises balanced red wines.
It is a wine with aromas of ripe fruit and freshness of wild berries, such as cherry and blackberry. In the mouth, it reveals a good acidity, with very present tannins, mature and well harmonized, resulting from the stage in wood. The finish is long, with a light and attractive bitterness. This wine may be enjoyed young, with meats or cheeses, or left to age in the bottle for a few years, which will reveal even more perfection. Suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.
