Quinta de Azinhate Reserva 2016 Red Wine
Quinta do Daniel, established since 1893, is located next to the place of Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa. The heart of this magnificent wine estate embraces the Douro river and welcomes all boats that arrive at the pier of Pocinho.
The vineyards extend from the left bank of the Douro River and go up the slope in the traditional terraces to a height of 425 meters. With about 80% of vines in full production age, it has about 20% of red grape varieties, aged 40 years.
Quinta de Azinhate Reserva 2015 Red Wine reveals ruby colour. Aromas of red fruits, blackberries and black plum. Some floral touches over vanilla notes. Lively tannins, solid and marked but polished and elegant, with a long and persistent finish.
