Ruby colour. Intense but youg fragrance, dominated by blueberries and currant nuances. Smooth in the mouth with a slight and balanced acidity enhancing its freshness

Vinification
Fermentation during 6 days in stainless vats under 25ºC. After total stalk the grapes immediately received a thermal shock to regulate their temperature around 25ºC

<p>Casal Garcia was born in 1939, a year in which the vintage was particularly good. Returning by train from the grape harvest in the Douro, the French oenologist Euge Hisse decided to interrupt his journey to Oporto after passing the vines of the Quinta da Aveleda, in Penafiel. The name came about by itself, since the wine was produced from one of the vines of Aveleda: that of Casal Garcia</p> <p></p>

<p>On the hot plains of the Baixo Alentejo, just a few kilometres from the city of Beja, is one of the oldest wine estates in the region. <p>This wine was produced in south Alentejo with the grape varieties of Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional. Presents garnet colour intense aroma with notes of black cherry and wild flavours. Taste balanced, smooth, and end of good persistence.</p>

<p>Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999 at Quinta do Côtto, and later worked as an oenologist at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Douro. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, namely Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha.</p>
<p><span>Lua Cheia is a result of the passion to display the individuality and character that the creators of this project, have with the Douro region for more than two decades. Lua Cheia wants to show the world what is best produced in Portugal. The passion for the wines began in the Douro, but was divided later by other regions.</span></p>
<p>Monte Velho Red was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience</p>
