In 1913 the family interests were constituted in a company of the family that, in 1925, began its activity like exporter of its wines to the detriment of the local supply to other exporters</p>

<p>Quinta do Javali Special Cuvee Red Wine presents dark red colour, with almost an opaque center. Nose dominated by fruit, essentially ripe black one. You can also unlock floral hints of crushed violet petals. There are also notes of undergrowth, with allusions to bark aromas, along with bitter chocolate. Long aging in high quality barrels don't mask the wine. On the palate, the structure has a huge dimension, supported by good tannins, which enhance the long persistence of evidence and considerable aging capacity</p>
<p>Quinta do Javali Maria Luisa Red Wine presents initial nose with spices (black pepper), grass and understory notes. Aromas of cigar and shale follow. After some time of aeration, notes of black plum and dark chocolate appear. As a result of a patient wait, the ripe black fruit appears in all its splendor.“Grandiose” mouth, with an enormous richness in well-balanced tannins with surprising acid freshness. The immense structure supports the fruity flavors of black plum with “grandeur”. There are even “earthy” sensations, again with stunning freshness.</p>
<p>Quinta do Javali Maria Luisa Red Wine lingers in the mouth, leaving in our memory the echo of something very special. The tannins are well integrated, and combine structure and elegance in an incomparable symbiosis. The fruity component of the wine reappears, in a whirlwind of tastes which once again confirms the complexity which is so characteristic of an old wine</p>
<p>The Clos line at Quinta do Javali demonstrates the purity, respect and uniqueness of the expression of the Fonte do Santo terroir, in Ervedosa do Douro, from the vineyard to the glass</p>
