The Herdade do Vau wine project is the new frontier of the Alentejo region. Located about 15 'from Beja, the Southeast, (but already outside the "Beja barros"), with folded lands and leaning against the Guadiana, is a unique, almost magical space! The small 5,5ha vineyard develops on poor soils, with exposures to the North, East and South, with the Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Alfrocheiro and Sousão grape varieties (this one, for the first time in the Alentejo).
Laughter gives us the signal of what can be done in this new frontier. It is an elegant wine, with an intense and complex aroma, with a very long end and great harmony. "
