Shaping our country's natural potential in this area, creating and reinventing each wine, is a passion for me.         <p></p><p>Vinha do Lado Red Wine presents intense colour, with aromas of jam, ripe fruit, truffles and vanilla. On the palate it has good acidity, soft but firm tannins and a long finish.</p> <p>The grapes are destemmed and carefully selected at the hand-picking table. After crushing, they are trodden in marble presses using the traditional foot treading method.  Transfer to stainless steel vats where the alcoholic fermentation finishes. This is followed by 12 days of post-fermentation maceration.</p>

          <p></p><p>De mai bine de 20 de ani, numele João Portugal Ramos a fost asociat cu vinurile portugheze, mai întâi ca vinificator de consultanță pentru branduri bine cunoscute de vin și din 1992 ca producător de îmbuteliere.</p> <p>Succesul și premiile acumulate pe tot parcursul carierei sale au câștigat recunoașterea națională și internațională ca fiind unul dintre principalele responsabile pentru evoluția vinurilor portugheze în ultimul deceniu.</p> <p>Alentejo a fost regiunea aleasă pentru a produce primele sale vinuri. În 1990, João Portugal Ramos a plantat primele cinci hectare de podgorie din Estremoz, unde a trăit din 1988, începând cu proiectul său personal. Și-a extins activitatea dincolo de Alentejo din 1989, ajungând la Ribatejo, Beiras, Douro și Vinho Verde</p>
