In the typical landscape of the Alentejo, near the town of Reguengos de Monsaraz, is the Herdade do Esporão that marked this year the 750 years of its delimitation. In the 1830 hectares of territory, between plains and valleys excavated by streams, there are 617 hectares of vineyards and 80 of olive groves. The hills and small villages of whitewashed houses keep the memory of an experience that comes from prehistory.

Quinta dos Murças is located in the center of DOC Douro, is characterized by the presence of 8 terroirs very marked by the mountains, the different altitudes and solar expositions, the shaley soils and the characteristic climate of the Douro river valley. In the vineyards were planted dozens of autochthonous varieties, according to Biological Production and Integrated Production. Olive trees, orange groves, almond groves and Mediterranean woods help maintain the balance of the ecosystem.
