Casa das Eiras is located in the heart of the upper Douro, overlooking the river Tua, in the transition between the Cima-Corgo region and the Upper Douro, in the village of São Mamede de Ribatua. The date 1670 is engraved in stone on the central door of the winery, which gives us an idea of the tradition that the wine has in this Douro Quinta. With vineyards planted in a mosaic in an area of high elevations, with transitional soils with a confluence of schist and granite, where quartz stones can be found, the wines reflect this "terroir", showing freshness, acidity and minerality in the whites and aroma and structure in the reds.
