Crafted by Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, this red wine is a blend of Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, Aragonez, and Touriga Nacional grapes, all cultivated in granite soils. The vinification process begins with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, creating the wine's foundational character.
What sets this wine apart is the additional step of aging a portion of the blend in wood for six months, which adds complexity and structure.
Fundação Eugénio de Almeida EA Reserva Red Wine shows more body and a refined character. It is best served at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a more robust and complete tasting experience.
