

Cartuxa Bruto is a refined sparkling wine crafted exclusively from Arinto, grown in the granitic soils of Alentejo. Grapes are rigorously selected and harvested at optimal ripeness for sparkling base wine. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by six months on fine lees with bâtonnage. The second fermentation occurs in bottle using the traditional method, with an extended 56-month aging period on the lees in the historic cellars of the Cartuxa Monastery, before
Bright and expressive, Cartuxa Bruto offers delicate aromas of citrus, green apple, and subtle mineral notes, complemented by elegant hints of toast from its long aging. On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant, with lively acidity, fine bubbles, and a persistent, refreshing finish. With 12.5% alcohol, this sparkling wine is best served at 10 ºC and pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, sushi, or as an elegant aperitif.
