Gricha is made from the old vineyards at Quinta da Gricha, like its big sister Quinta da Gricha. This is an elegant, lighter style of Douro wine, with less extraction.
Bright garnet colour. Intense and expressive on the nose, combining fresh aromas of blueberries and spices. Delicate and complex on the palate, with black cherry flavours and a mineral layer, ending in a long, seductive, velvety finish.

<p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. <p></p><p>The Alves de Sousa family has long traditions in the production of Port Wine. It was up to Domingos Alves de Sousa, a great lord of the Douro, to launch quiet wines in the 90s. <p></p> <p>The Crasto Red is made from traditional Douro red grape varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Franca. Unoaked, it is produced to be a fresh, fruity, easy-to-drink wine. This Douro wine has a deep ruby colour with very ripe red fruit aromas. Very fruity on the palate, with good structure and light tannins which make it a very pleasant wine</p> <p></p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>The origin of the name of this wine is an old manor fam, located in Cabêda and founded in the century XV, belonged to a noble family of vintners named "Gragos", the connection of this imposing building to to the wine production is historical.</p>
<p></p><p>The Quinta do Filoco vineyards produce the best nectars of the Douro region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyards and the Cellar were being modernized with new equipment, combining tradition and modernity in the well know how to make wine. The vineyards stretched along 130 hectares, surrounded by thickets with typically Mediterranean vegetation that contribute to the unique terroir of the Filoco wines.</p>
