A seductive wine, of excellent volume, solid structure composed of tannins of elegant texture. <p></p><p>Scala Coeli Reserva was obtained from the best vinifications of the harvest, using less traditional grape varieties in the region. In 2019 it resulted from the vinification of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, harvested on 27 August. On that day, the grapes were carefully harvested and taken to the winery, where cold pre-fermentation maceration took place, followed by alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 28ºC and prolonged maceration. Total incubation of 20 days. Aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels and 24 months in bottle</p>

<p></p><p>Vinha do Lado Red Wine presents intense colour, with aromas of jam, ripe fruit, truffles and vanilla. On the palate it has good acidity, soft but firm tannins and a long finish.</p> <p>The grapes are destemmed and carefully selected at the hand-picking table. After crushing, they are trodden in marble presses using the traditional foot treading method.  Transfer to stainless steel vats where the alcoholic fermentation finishes. This is followed by 12 days of post-fermentation maceration.</p>
